Nottingham Riverside Festival at the Riverside Park Embankment, Trent Bridge, Nottingham. A massive family based show is very well attended and has lots of activitys and attractions.

Bedfordshire Steam and Country Fair set within Shuttleworth Park,Shuttleworth Park, Nr Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. This is the second biggest steam event in the country, attracting many enthusiasts.

Shugborough by Candle Light, Milford, Near Stafford, ST17 0XB. The Shugborough Estate is proposing to produce the ultimate Classical Christmas Experience. The show will have its usual attractions based around the Victorian Christmas theme that includes hundreds of candles lighting up the interior of the house, characters in costume, roasted chestnuts, carol singers and a whole host of traditional entertainment. A huge new attraction for 2008 will be the opening of the Gardens lit by thousands of lights aspiring to create an idyllic Christmas Scene including snow showers, reindeer sleigh rides and a children’s treasure hunt.
